Main house front entrance
Our main house guest rooms were built in 2017, from foundation to roof. We had a devastating fire in 2014 that destroyed the part of the house built in the 1730s. As two artists taking on a major renovation like this, we had to call in resources and find ways to rebuild. This is our result so far. We look forward to sharing photos in the spring and summer when nature comes alive! We will be happy to share our stories of the past four years. What a wild journey to this point!

Walking from the hiking trail or parking lot, this is the back view of the dining room, hallway and guest bedroom windows.
Our neighbor Laura Parsons created this beautiful stained glass art and Tao was determined to get it into the new part of the house, literally. Tao built the encasement and our builder installed it. Guests staying in the sunrise bedroom see the view from the other side. It is breathtaking and a showcase piece of our second story.
There is much to explore here any time of year. Still Waters is about communing with nature and connecting with each other.
These cottages have experienced renovation and transformation over the past 40 years. They are ready for another wave. Currently, they are unplugged for seasonal glamping. We will be working on getting them restored with power and running water later. It's amazing to experience these cottages without the conveniences of modern life.
