Need to recharge your batteries? Want to finish that writing project? Need to get started on your next creative endeavor? Find the peace and quiet you need to focus on and get some great work done at Still Waters. Enjoy solitude or swap ideas over delicious home-cooked meals with other creatives at this Writer’s Weekend in Connecticut’s beautiful “Quiet Corner.” You will have your own room and are welcome to use common spaces, decks, and the great outdoors for inspiration. Take an early winter hike, meditate or stretch in the yoga studio, and ponder your creative pursuits around the bonfire.
Together we will explore ways in which to support each other in being fully aware to all that is in the present, with all its textures and circumstances. Practicing curiosity about life instead of avoiding it, we can learn to see and let go of misperceptions and habits of mind that constrict and block us from truly living. Led by Tom Duva and Michael Geres, founders of the Pojama Sangha in Manchester, CT.
